Give children like Sarita, not only the ability to participate in life, but the opportunity to thrive!
We are celebrating nine wonderful years with Sarita. When she came to us, she was just two and a half years old and weighed a mere 15lbs. She had severe respiratory issues and was diagnosed with an infection in her blood, lungs, and brain. Hearts In Motion arranged and funded critical surgeries to help her regain her health. Unfortunately, the infection in her brain made her blind and caused some mental impairments. Hundreds of children have come to our Nutrition Center suffering from malnutrition; some can return home, but others cannot. For children like Sarita, Hearts In Motion is her permanent home, her family.
Hearts In Motion is honored that an anonymous donor has pledged a $10,000 matching gift for all donations made now and until Giving Tuesday, November 29, to support our Nutrition Center.
That means for every dollar we raise until Giving Tuesday 11.29.22, the donor will match your contribution dollar for dollar.
If you can, we hope you will consider donating today to give children facing these incredible hardships not only the ability to participate in life but the opportunity to thrive!
How will your gift be used?
- Cover expenses associated with medical care such as surgery, medication, and physical therapy for severely malnourished children.
- Provide a clean, safe place for children to live temporarily while they regain their health.
- Give wrap-around care that physically and emotionally supports each child.
- Enable a team of experts to address emerging health issues and plans for long-term care.
Remember you can double your donation to help children suffering from severe malnutrition and other complicated health issues by donating today and until Tuesday, November 29. So donate now, and your gift will go twice as far!
