Join us in celebrating 10 years of Changing Lives through Music!
Beginning in May, 2014, the Music In Motion program provides tuition-free music lessons to over 50 children ages 4-18 in Guatemala at our Gualan Campus and Pueblo Modelo Learning Center. Our program is offered year round and provides free instruments and a safe environment for children as a positive alternative to other unwholesome activities.
Children enrolled in the program may attend before or after school depending on their school schedule, allowing students to receive lessons several times per week. Not only do our students learn to play the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and sing, our program also instills confidence, critical thinking skills, teamwork, and the opportunity to have fun and build long-lasting relationships.
None of it would be possible without your generous support of fundraisers such as this one which is why we want to show you exactly how far we have come thanks to you! Starting on Wednesday, May 1 through Friday, May 10, we will be sharing 10 posts per day beginning at 10:00am est. Through these posts we will be sharing the growth of the program in chronological order, how the program came to be, and our goals as we look towards the future.
