Support Our Medical Equipment Shipping Program
Every year, we receive millions of dollars of donated physical, occupational, speech, and other healthcare equipment from generous partners nationwide. These donations include essential tools that restore mobility, independence, comfort, and quality of life for thousands of people every year.
HOW WE ENSURE EQUIPMENT MAKES THE GREATEST IMPACT
Our team works closely with healthcare vendors, hospitals, clinics, and community partners to ensure every donation is meaningful and usable. WE:
- Accept only equipment in good working condition
- Ensure all items are non-expired and appropriate for the communities we serve
- Coordinate directly with local leaders to identify the most urgent needs
- Follow a structured packing and unpacking process so equipment gets tothe right people at the right time
- Match donations to the specific needs of our rehabilitation clinics and partner communities
WHY WE SHIP MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
The healthcare systems of many developing countries rely heavily on donated medical devices and equipment. For more than 30 years, Hearts In Motion has helped deliver these essential items to communities in need—primarily across Central and South America, with additional shipments sent to Lebanon, Ukraine, and more. This equipment saves lives, increases independence, and strengthens local healthcare systems that otherwise lack access to specialized tools.
